Overdose Prevention Programs, Resources, & More
Hope Alliance of NWI is committed to saving lives, fostering education, and providing compassionate support for individuals and communities. Our comprehensive harm reduction programs are rooted in lived experience and a deep understanding of social determinants of health, working closely with the community and our partners. That’s why our outreach team works tirelessly on the streets every day to connect with participants and ensure they have access to the resources they need.
Overdose Prevention
Drug overdose is preventable, so our overdose prevention programs aim to empower individuals and communities with essential life-saving tools and knowledge. We provide Narcan fentanyl testing strips and safe use kits to ensure that those at risk have the resources they need to stay safe while pursuing better health outcomes. By embracing an empathetic approach based on real-life experiences, we strive to break down barriers and build trust with the people we serve.
NARCAN Training
We offer comprehensive NARCAN training for participants, community members, and partners. These sessions teach how to use NARCAN effectively and provide education on recognizing the signs of an overdose and responding quickly. Whether you are a concerned family member or part of a community organization, our training equips you with the necessary tools to act in critical moments.
Disease Prevention & Education
Health is crucial for everyone, which is why we promote awareness and prevention of communicable diseases. We provide Hepatitis C and HIV testing to curb the spread of infections and offer immediate care to those in need. Our commitment also includes preventive education, raising awareness about safer practices, and ensuring individuals are informed about available treatments.
